Material and cultural  evidences in Italy confirming the manyfold  links with the Asia-Europe Cultural Roads. Historical and archaeological research aimed at  the recovery preservation and valorisation of buildings and monuments.

Characters and knowledge among Trento, Europe and China
The influence of the works of two distinguished Trentinian  Jesuits in the seventeenth century, Martino Martini and Andrea Pozzo, in the circulation of knowledge between the two civilizations at the Eurasia edges and their impact on European and Chinese intellectuals.

Athanasius Kircher, an eclectic scholar of the '600 .   Versatile scientist, scholar and collector, teacher of a whole generation of Jesuit missionaries at the Roman College, Kircher played a crucial role in spreading knowledge of Chinese civilization in the West. The research is aimed at the publication of the critical edition of his work China monumentis, qua sacris qua ... profanis of 1667.
